Day 1 - Arrival in Venice

Upon your arrival in the Venice Airport you will be greeted by our local representative and transferred to your hotel in the city.

Day 2 - Venice Walking and Boat Tour

This morning, your English speaking guide will meet you at the hotel for your private tour of the city. Enjoy a three hour walking tour followed by an hour long boat tour of Venice's canals.

The three hour walking tour will introduce you to the most important monuments. The tour includes visits to Doge's Palace, decorated with rose and pink marble and the Bridge of Sighs that links the Palace with the prison section. Its windows allowed the prisoner to see the outside world for the last time before execution. Next, St. Mark's Basilica, called the golden cathedral, crowned with five huge domes and St. Mark's Square, the symbol of Venice. The tour continues with an hour long private boat tour of the most picturesque canals of Venice.

After your tour, the rest of the day is free for you to continue sightseeing on your own.

Day 3 - Venice

A free day to enjoy this unique city on your own or perhaps add one of our exciting optional tours.

Day 4 - Verona and the Valpolicella Wine Region

A private tour of Verona and the Valpolicella region.

On your arrival in Verona, you will go on a fascinating 2 hour walking tour, starting with the Romans conquering Verona and ending with its contemporary history. You will see the different ages of the city through all the various monuments scattered around its historical center.

In the afternoon your tour continues with a drive in the nearby hills to explore the delightful countryside of the Valpolicella wine region. On the way you will visit an evocative and historical winery, where you can taste different local wines, including the world famous Amarone.

Return to Piazzale Roma in Venice where our assistant will transfer you back to your hotel by private boat.

Day 5 - Murano, Burano and Torcello

Your guide will escort you in your private boat to discover the three treasures of the Venice Lagoon: the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello.

You will start in Murano, famous world wide for its beautiful glass art work. The Glass Museum, located in the Palazzo Giustinian, holds samples of glass from Egyptian times through to the present day, with its displays showing how the art and manufacture of glass developed over the centuries.

Burano is located just north of Venice. The island is known throughout the world for its specialty: Burano lace. Burano's colorful houses were painted brilliant colors out of the fishermen's desire to see their own houses from far out at sea.

Torcello, the third Island you will visit is absolutely charming. A legend states that St. Mark stopped here while on his journey to Aquilea. The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta is considered a Byzantine masterpiece with its mosaic floor.

Day 6 - Departure

After checking out of your hotel, depart for your onward travel. Transfers can be arranged for your next point or the airport or rail station.

2) We send you a Proposal

Shortly after your initial contact with our tour designers, you will receive a draft proposal based on your earlier discussions, normally within 2 business days. This proposal is a no obligation draft for your review and comments. Any additions or modifications will be implemented and a new proposal will be forwarded to you for approval.

3) You like what you see!

Upon meeting your requirements and expectations, you will be requested to send a deposit in the amount of 25% of total. Final Payment is due 45 days prior to scheduled departure date.

4) Buon viaggio!

Approximately, 2 weeks prior to departure you will receive a personalized and detailed day by day itinerary booklet and the necessary vouchers for the services to be provided, along with a general information section on the various regions of Italy.

The booklet and vouchers will include all the important information; addresses, phone & mobile numbers for all your service providers, hotels as well as the phone number of our office in Rome.
