The Ruins of Pompeii
You will be taken from the Naples port on a 45 minute ride by motor coach to the fascinating archeological sight at Pompeii. The ruins of Pompeii are indeed worthy of their place as one of the great Wonders of the World. The city lay buried and forgotten for hundreds of years following the eruption of the volcano Mount Vesuvius in the year 79 A.D. The preservation of the intricate frescoes which adorn the walls and floor of the villas will leave you in awe as you explore the city.
Excavations began in the 18th century are still being carried out today, unearthing archeological treasures that bring a sense of wonder to visitors. Your guide will take you slowly through some of the ancient streets of Pompeii where you can see Baths, Forums and Villas built by the prosperous Romans in the year 80 B.C. against the backdrop of the impressive Mount Vesuvius. Even if your interests do not lie in history, this archaeological sight truly cannot fail to impress you. Once you have completed your tour of Pompeii, you will return to the Naples port and your cruise ship.

2) We send you a Proposal
Shortly after your initial contact with our tour designers, you will receive a draft proposal based on your earlier discussions, normally within 2 business days. This proposal is a no obligation draft for your review and comments. Any additions or modifications will be implemented and a new proposal will be forwarded to you for approval.
3) You like what you see!
Upon meeting your requirements and expectations, you will be requested to send a deposit in the amount of 25% of total. Final Payment is due 45 days prior to scheduled departure date.
4) Buon viaggio!
Approximately, 2 weeks prior to departure you will receive a personalized and detailed day by day itinerary booklet and the necessary vouchers for the services to be provided, along with a general information section on the various regions of Italy.
The booklet and vouchers will include all the important information; addresses, phone & mobile numbers for all your service providers, hotels as well as the phone number of our office in Rome.
