Your tour begins with a visit to Santa Maria Del Popolo where you can take in the Ceraci Chapel and look in awe at Raffaello Sanzio’s Chigi Chapel. Then visit the Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria where you will see a masterpiece of the Bernini: ”The Ecstasy of St. Teresa”. Continue by car to Tiber island(panoramic view) to Piazza della Minerva, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona where you will see another work of art of the Bernini: the famous ”Fountain of the Rivers”.You will then continue to the Castel Sant’Angelo(Illumination Church) and the Passetto and last but not least, visit the largest sanctuary of Christianity, Saint Peter’s Basilica, where you can admire an amazing triumph of marble, bronze and mosaic works.The tour will end in St. Peter’s Square from which you can take a taxi back to the hotel or continue sightseeing on your own.
